Don't want to alarm anyone, but there are only 227 more days until Christmas. Anyone started to carve Christmas tree ornaments yet????For the exchange??? Tom H

Well, believe it or not I have actually been thinking about what I want to carve for the 'Exchange.' I just finished carving and painting 7 small scotty dogs for our carving club. In June we give a 'Show & Tell' presentation to one of our local senior homes. As part of that presentation give as door prizes small carvings to the residents that our members have carved. No, I won't be carving santa scotty dogs for the exchange--bored with that subject! LOL

Go ahead and start carving anytime you want....in fact maybe we should do like the W3E exchange, they ask the carving be done and ready to mail out when you sign up? Might stop the problems we had last swap with several that did not reciprocate? input?

OK, I'll get started I know now what I want to carve just have to make a pattern. I don't really have an opinion as to procedure, so what ever is decided is fine with me.

Thinking and doing are two different subjects. I do a lot of the former. Not much of the latter. Hooo Humm, the dreaded slumps.
