| | Re: 2007 Christmas Ornament swap Don't feel bad, you're not alone. I'm still working on mine. It doesn't help that I've changed patterns a bunch of times. I have carved 6 different ornaments to varying degrees before I decided that I didn't want to carve 9+ of them. I've finally settled on one and have got 3 donein the last week. Depending on this weekend, I hope to get the other 6 done. I find that the 3rd one was quite a bit quicker than the 1st one and I suspect that I'll get faster, to a point, as I doe the final 6.

| | Re: 2007 Christmas Ornament swap I know they don't have to be the same but I figure the practice is good. I try to improve upon each one, there's always plenty of room for improvement! I didn't get much time this weekend since putting the kitchen back together after the new flooring was put in took longer than I expected. I'll keep whittling away at them though!

| | Re: 2007 Christmas Ornament swap Yesterday afternoon I had a package waiting for me from Gene. Inside was a cute Santa ornament! My only complaint is that you didn't sign it Gene!
Thanks for the great ornament!

| | Re: 2007 Christmas Ornament swap My Gene Messer ornament isn't signed, either. I figured he knew that any of us could just recognize it as his (he'd be right). |
