| | 2007 Christmas Ornament swap OK..going by last years form, if you want in on the swap, send me your name AND your username here, address, phone number and email address....probably best to send it to me via private message. If you want it announced to the forum you are participating, just post to that affect without all your personal info. When it appears everyone has signed up that is going to... we will email every participant a copy of the completed form to use as a mail check list and also as a check list of the carvings received. I date when I mail a carving and when I receive a carving, there is a place on the form for that. This is a lot of fun and this year means I will have to make a THIRD wreath just for other carvers ornaments! Oh and wife accepted the job offer of making the form at the same rate of pay lol

| | Re: 2007 Christmas Ornament swap I'd like to participate again this year. Last year's was the first time I have did a group exchange, and I really enjoyed it. Doing a large number of carvings in a short time helped me with my carving skills. |

| | Re: 2007 Christmas Ornament swap I don't think I ever took a picture, but let me explain. You will get a list of names and addresses, last year 17. You simply carve an ornament and send one to each person on the list.
I hope the beginning carvers on this forum participate! Don't worry about the skill of the carver. Some of the best carvings come from the hearts of new carvers! Last year there were those carvings that were amazing and there were thos that were from beginner carvers but they too were special. As an experienced carver (notice I did not say expert :>) I can say that I want new carvers to particiapte, I look forward to receiving their carvings. Who knows, someday they might be a famous artist and I will have one of their early works!
Hopefully, in the end, you will receive 17 carvings back. That is the goal. As Hi-Ho has said, you can get a pretty big collection of carvings through this exchange. I will definatly need a new wreath this year.
Hope this helps.
