Egads, Yikes, Wow! Not a whole lot of time. Especially if you're planning on carving a whole bunch of Christmas ornaments, and/or other gifts. I for one had better pay attention to the dates, and get started. Well to be honest, I have already started (just a little though). Now don't forget, that you shouldn't use the entire 130 days if you carve Christmas tree ornaments. You will want to have some time to display the ornaments during the season. This is just a reminder to myself, and anyone else who puts things off until the last minute. Thank you, you are now returned to your regularly scheduled program.

I'm usually thanking the perso who reminds me that I need to get started on my Christmas carvings but I too have gotten off to a good start. I'm making everyone one of my blockhead santa's like the one that I posted in this thread: http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.co...ads-fun-11821/
I've been carrying the blocks around in my cargo pocets all this week and work on them when I can. Christmas truely is just around the corner and since everyone knows that I carve I'm gonna need every bit of the 130 days!

I guess we could put out the list for the Christmas ornament swap if everyone is ready and interested...........lets this year have a swap like the first year, everyone participating that signs up, instead of accepting ornaments and not returning theirs! If no where else, lets see a little of the good ol' woodcarver honesty here again! Since my wife made up the form last year and did a great job, I will hire her again this year at the same rate of pay
