A hand-carved mantel adds instant value to your home. Many carvers aspire to
carving their own mantel, but don't feel they are ready to undertake the
challenge. By approaching the mantel as individual panels with a repeating
design, the project is broken down into chunks and becomes more manageable. The
traditional oak leaf design can be used to embellish a variety of other
