Congratulation Winners!

Thank you to the nearly 200 participants who entered the 2007 Woodcarving Illustrated Santa Carving Contest! We had a wide-variety of entries ranging from shallow relief to elaborate holiday scenes and a lot more in-between -- including Santa riding a buffalo to Santa in his birthday suit.

As we expected, all the entries were top-notch and selecting the winners was extremely difficult. But, after many hours of deliberation and a couple of fist-fights, the judges have selected the Grand Prize and three Honorable Mention winners. The People's Choice Award was also a very close call. Even with more than 6,000 votes cast on-line, the winner was not selected until the final day of voting.

Thanks again to all of the contestants, sponsors and voters for making this event a success -- and a BIG congratulation to the winners! Enjoy the fine work of our contestants and have a happy holiday season!
